JOB SUMMARY
Our client is recruiting a Total Rewards Manager to join its global HR team in Hong Kong. RReporting to the Global Head of Total Rewards, based in the UK, this newly created position will play a key role in shaping compensation strategy, global job architecture, salary benchmarking and reward programmes across an international workforce. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Total Rewards professional, ideally with Mercer IPE expertise, to influence reward strategy within a highly respected global organisation.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for the vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing Total Rewards and compensation programmes within a multinational organisation
- Strong expertise in compensation strategy, salary benchmarking and market analysis
- Experience designing and managing salary structures, pay bands and global grading frameworks
- Practical experience applying recognised job evaluation methodologies, with Mercer IPE considered a distinct advantage
- Strong understanding of global job architecture and position evaluation
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel and compensation modelling capability
- Experience supporting annual salary reviews, incentive programmes and reward planning
- Strong understanding of internal equity, pay governance and compensation analytic
- Sound understanding of compensation and benefits legislation and market practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- A proactive, self motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a fast paced global environment
- Professional qualifications such as CCP or CBP would be advantageous
- Experience gained within a global rewards consultancy, such as Mercer, would be highly regarded
JOB DESCRIPTION The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain compensation models to support forecasting, budgeting and remuneration planning
- Conduct salary benchmarking, market research and detailed compensation analysis to support competitive reward practices
- Manage annual salary review processes, including base pay, incentive and bonus planning
- Maintain the integrity of compensation data, salary structures and related HR information
- Lead compensation and reward projects that support the organisation's strategic objectives
- Maintain and continuously improve the global job architecture and grading framework
- Undertake job evaluations using recognised methodologies, including Mercer IPE, and recommend appropriate job grading
- Review organisational structures and role design to ensure alignment with established job architecture principles
- Analyse market trends and remuneration data to recommend salary structure adjustments where appropriate
- Identify and address internal equity, grading and pay compression risks through data driven insights
- Partner with HR and business leaders to support performance management and reward initiatives
- Develop, review and maintain Total Rewards policies and procedures
- Oversee employee benefits programmes and work with external providers where required
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and compensation related governance requirements

REMUNERATION PACKAGE A competitive remuneration package, commensurate with the level of responsibility associated with this role, is on offer.
