JOB SUMMARY
Join a progressive and innovative offshore wind service provider, operating a modern fleet of Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) throughout Northern Europe. In this role you will take ownership of highly advanced mission equipment consisting of active motion compensated gangway and crane systems.
- This is a rare opportunity to work with some of the most advanced offshore equipment in the industry and to directly contribute to the success of the renewable energy transition. Responsible for the reliability, maintenance and operational readiness of the motion compensated mission equipment
- Responsible for supporting in fault finding, maintenance and repairs of the defined equipment
- Be the focal point between the vessels and OEM and relevant service providers
- Pending profile, company can be flexible towards location (home office), but candidate should have the ability to travel to vessels in port or offshore when needed
- Role to be based in EU/EEA

CANDIDATE PROFILE To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional qualification
(Alternatively, previous relevant experience with hands-on experience with motion compensated offshore equipment) - Experience with automation, hydraulics, electronics and software programming is beneficial
- Proven track record in the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of offshore mission equipment
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and flexible to travel regularly to vessels
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required to liaise effectively with crew and suppliers, and only candidates with an existing work permit or residency within Europe will be considered.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as the technical lead for all gangway, crane, and related lifting systems on assigned vessels
- Monitor equipment condition and performance, and coordinate corrective actions as required
- Plan and supervise maintenance in accordance with OEM guidelines and operational best practices
- Manage and support unplanned repairs in coordination with subcontractors and service providers
- Define critical spare parts, manage procurement of consumables and long-lead items
- Conduct technical inspections and provide onboard training to vessel crew
- Contribute to annual maintenance budgets and identify training needs
- Support dry-docking, modifications, and newbuild projects
- Participate in HSEQ activities including risk assessments, defect handling, and change management
- Act as the subject matter expert, offering technical support and knowledge sharing across the fleet
