JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our client’s team in a specialised manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving strategic account development.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• At least 5 years’ experience in key account management or technical sales within a manufacturing environment
• A track record of driving sales growth and managing strategic accounts
• Strong commercial and product knowledge, with the ability to convert enquiries and communicate value
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Experience using CRM or internal systems for reporting and tracking
• Solid understanding of pricing, lead times, and how production processes impact sales
• A proactive, self-managed approach with strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Awareness of market trends and competitor activity

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Driving revenue through the acquisition of new business, expansion into new markets, and maintaining and growing key accounts.
• Managing and executing structured call schedules, including face-to-face client engagement and ongoing communication, aligned with turnover and growth objectives.
• Meeting annual financial targets and contributing to the overall sales strategy.
• Demonstrating deep product and process knowledge, with the ability to articulate technical features and translate them into client-specific benefits.
• Navigating and utilising internal systems effectively, including dashboard management and access to key business-critical information.
• Delivering exceptional customer service by building sustainable, value-driven client relationships and ensuring accurate communication of lead times.
• Managing the pricing and quoting process, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and global raw material pricing impacts.
• Converting enquiries into sales by identifying opportunities, responding efficiently, and closing deals in line with company goals.
• Leading with tenacity and professionalism, exhibiting strong time management, self-direction, and adaptability.
• Maintaining awareness of competitor activity and representing the business effectively in the market.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
