JOB SUMMARY
Our client is urgently seeking South African seafarers for an Offshore Guard Vessel operating in Norway. These are direct-hire roles with a reputable Norwegian company, offering stable contracts and visa-free deployment via Norwegian ports.

Standard rotation is 2 months on / 2 months off, with an option for  6-month commitments during initial contract periods.

A forward-thinking Norwegian maritime company known for safety, professionalism, and fair crew management. Their growing fleet of Offshore Guard Vessels requires skilled and reliable South African seafarers ready for immediate mobilisation and long-term collaboration.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted, candidates must have the following, but not limited to:

• Valid STCW certificates and ENG1 or equivalent medical
• A current South African passport
• Proven sea-time in rank
• Immediate availability for international deployment
• Previous experience on Offshore Guard or similar support vessels (advantageous)

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Safe execution of duties according to rank
• Compliance with international and vessel-specific safety standards
• Professional collaboration with multinational crew
• Accurate record-keeping for inspections and audits
• Adaptability to working conditions in European waters

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

• OIC Engine: USD 4.000/month (all in)
• Chief Mate: USD 4.000/month (all in)
• Able Seaman (AB): USD 2.000/month (all in)
  Rotation: Potentially2-on/2-off, with longer contracts periods of up to 6 months.
