JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Cape Town team by handling loading and unloading of materials, stock management, and general warehouse duties. The role also includes using the Winfreight WMS system to manage stock movements and assisting in warehouse organisation.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in transport, road freight, or supply chain industries
• Strong problem-solving and intuitive thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication, administration, and filing skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy goods
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe pallet handling
• Managing stock movement using the Winfreight WMS system
• Stock-taking and cycle control in collaboration with the Regional Operations Manager
• Packing, repalletizing, and wrapping stock for dispatch
• Organizing and maintaining the warehouse floor to ensure compliance and safety
• General warehouse duties as required
