Job Summary
A fast-growing international logistics group is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of financial operations across multiple entities. Based in Sandton, Johannesburg, this role will oversee accounting functions for a newly established administrative services company within the Group, supporting finance, HR, and operational resources. The company is expanding and may relocate to Rosebank or Fourways to support growth.

With a commitment to personalised service and operational excellence, they are looking for a skilled accountant to support their continued growth and ensure financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role, you must have:

• 10+ years of financial accounting experience (7–8 years may be considered)
• A degree in Finance or Accounting
• Proven experience with Business Central 365
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple entities
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data
• Fluency in written and spoken English (Portuguese is an advantage but not required)
• A proactive, hands-on attitude—you must be happy to roll up your sleeves and handle data entry tasks until the role grows

Job Description
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing financial operations across multiple entities, including VAT compliance for Danish companies
• Reviewing and validating monthly financial statements from all entities
• Liaising with Danish accounting firms to manage VAT compliance
• Assisting in quarterly and annual financial closing
• Supporting budgeting and financial reporting for stakeholders
• Developing and implementing financial processes to optimise efficiency
