JOB SUMMARY
Oversee and optimise warehousing, inventory, receiving, pallet management, waste stock, and dispatch operations. Ensure safe, efficient deliveries within budget while supporting production with timely, accurate raw material supply.  
   
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• Bachelor/ Degree (NQF 7) in Logistics or BCom in Supply Chain Management, or Industrial engineering or Production management.
• 5 years’ experience in supply chain related function or environment, operating at a supervisory level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft excel.
• Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD of Drafting program

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
   People Management

• Align team performance with organizational objectives, translating goals into action plans.
• Drive team performance, foster growth, and ensure strategic targets are met.
• Lead and develop distribution teams by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring collaboration.
• Identify training needs and implement programs to bridge skill gaps.
• Build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers while responding to evolving needs.

  Warehouse & Distribution Oversight

• Support Finished Goods and Dispatch Managers to optimize warehouse and dispatch operations.
• Oversee stock management, ensuring proper storage, retrieval, and rotation (FIFO).
• Develop, maintain, and enhance SOPs and QFR for raw material management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including turnaround time, loading accuracy, and weighbridge functions.
• Manage budgets, workforce planning, and distribution efficiency.
• Optimize pallet systems to ensure seamless factory operations.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
A market related salary based on the level of responsibility for this role is on offer.
