About the role:
The Quality and Safeguarding Coordinator contributes to the development and effective implementation of new and existing quality and safeguarding frameworks through the gathering of key data for reporting, maintenance, and promotion of the Quality Management System and other support tasks and as required.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support a range of quality and safeguarding programs of work using expertise and skills to achieve outcomes that support the implementation of new and improved systems and processes.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative data and information to the Quality and Safeguarding Officer(s) for regular formal and informal reporting and monitoring.
- Support the implementation of internal Quality and Practice Audits and activities in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements to identify non-compliance issues for corrective action.
- Build and maintain relationships with operational staff and managers to continually reinforce the organisations’ commitment to high quality, safe services to clients.
- Support the updating of our NDIS registration as required and directed by the Quality and Safeguarding Officer(s) including approval and monitoring of delegate access in the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Portal.
- Participate in initial inquiry and fact-finding investigation activities as required to support the Quality and Safeguarding Team.
To be successful in this role, you will need: - Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations governing the Disability sector and related issues.
