About the role:
We are looking for a Customer Engagement Partner to join our Business Development team, based in Sydney. This role plays a key part in supporting sustainable growth while ensuring people with disability, their families and supporters experience a responsive, respectful and values‑driven engagement journey.
This is a relationship‑driven role that suits someone who thrives on connecting people to the right supports while balancing commercial and operational considerations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming enquiries and referrals from participants, families, support coordinators and other referral partners
- This role will mainly focus on Community Participation, Lifestyle Programs and Respite Services
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all stages of the engagement journey
- Partner closely with Operations to match participant needs with service capacity and capability
- Support occupancy, participation and growth targets across assigned programs
- Provide timely, accurate information and guidance to prospective customers and supporters
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to support outreach and engagement activities
- Maintain accurate records and reporting to support data‑led decision making
- Uphold Achieve Australia’s approach to inclusion, choice and participant‑led practice
About you: You are a confident relationship‑builder who understands the importance of both customer experience and sustainable service growth. You bring empathy, professionalism and commercial awareness to every interaction.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in customer engagement, business development, intake or sales within health, disability or human services
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- An understanding of NDIS‑funded services (or a genuine willingness to learn)
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working across multiple teams
- Strong administrative and CRM reporting capability
- Disability frontline service delivery management or coordination experience is highly regarded
