About the role:
This role is responsible for managing the delivery of information communication technology services and the implementation of associated strategic initiatives to support the operational requirements of the organisation’s business units in meeting customer’s needs. The role will lead the technology team in day-to-day activities, ensuring the successful implementation of projects, maintaining systems, and supporting the organisation's technological infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of Business-plan-aligned ICT strategic initiatives to enhance ICT’s functional effectiveness in satisfying customer requirements.
- Provide input and advice into the status of functional expenditure to assist in ensuring costs are controlled effectively and within budget parameters.
- Manage processes and procedures for technology for all projects with technical components to ensure alignment and compliance with operational requirements and systems governance.
- Manage a team of ICT professionals in the delivery of a wide range of ICT services to meet the requirements of the organisation’s business units and its customers.
- Ensure ICT systems’ support services are provided within agreed timeframes and service level agreements to satisfy customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors and partners, to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements, to ensure project completion, and to pursue continuous improvement opportunities in the provision of ICT services and the development of associated governance requirements.
- Support the ongoing alignment of ICT policies, procedures, and practices to appropriate best practice technical standards frameworks for ICT technical frameworks.
- To maintain protocols around cyber security and risk management, carrying out continuous analysis of the IT environment.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive ICT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience and availability of ICT services during unexpected disruptions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for ICT services to evaluate their effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will need: - Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in managing an ICT function in similar role for 5 years and more.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations governing the Disability sector and related issues.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects with an attention to detail, delivery on timelines and effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of cyber security protocols, IT Infrastructure, IT governance.
- Ensure uptime, stability, and performance across all core IT systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence
