About the role:
The Frontline Rostering Officer is responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective rostering across multiple locations. The role ensures accurate and up to date data is maintained in rostering systems to support high quality service delivery and positive client outcomes. Reporting to the Service Manager, this position involves developing and maintaining complex 24hour rosters with 8am start, providing training and technical support to system users, and working closely with frontline teams to improve workforce efficiency across the organisation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Master Rosters and coordinating day-to-day rostering requirements across sites.
- Directing and allocating resources as directed by the operation managers, ensuring business processes have been followed and exceptions manage.
- Escalating any shifts that are unable to be filled and/or service issues within appropriate time frames and procedures.
- Ensuring the information in Rostering System are accurate and up to date at all times.
- Working closely with Service Manager to optimise workforce planning and cost effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will need: - Rostering / scheduling / workforce planning experience.
- Knowledge of rostering systems, HR practices and award principles.
- Knowledge and application of Workforce Management Software systems, reporting capabilities, management of queues and activity routing/overflow, etc.
- Ability to build and maintain trust and confidence of stakeholders through building rapport, consistent performance and delivering on services.
- Demonstrated customer focused communication skills incorporating the abilities of courtesy, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise a demanding workload; and
- Advanced computer literacy e.g., MS Office and Excel.
