Achieve Australia is a for purpose community organisation that provides services to people with disability and an NDIS- registered provider.
The Events and Community Engagement Coordinator supports Achieve Australia’s (Achieve) passion to create social inclusion for people with disability.
The role is responsible for working with relevant stakeholders in planning, coordinating, and delivering a range of marketing, business development and community events and initiatives that enhance the promotion of our brand and services, and support engagement with key stakeholders.
This includes internal staff events, external community programs, and partnership activities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Systems and Process: Develop and enhance the systems and processes required to effectively plan and coordinate events, sponsorships, conference attendance and award submissions.
- Stakeholder engagement: partner with internal and eternal stakeholders including but not limited to event managers, service enablement functions, conference managers, award hosts.
- Support stakeholders to plan, manage and deliver: staff, participant and community events; Conference attendance and participation; Award submissions and attendance.
- Planning and coordination: liaise with suppliers, partners and community organisations; identify event opportunities that promote our customer and EVP; coordinate event logistics, promotional materials, communication plans and social media content.
To be successful in this role, you will need: (in this section we cover the essential criteria and the desired criteria)
- Tertiary qualifications in Events, Communications, Community Services, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in event management, project coordination, or community engagement.
- Strong planning, time management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
