Achieve Australia is a for purpose community organisation that provides services to people with disability and an NDIS- registered provider.
About the role:
As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of services to people we support across five houses to enable them to live well at home, participate in their community, and achieve their goals. You will lead your team to deliver high standards of practice while embedding and living your passion for social inclusion for people living with disability.
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee service delivery and the implementation of individual clients’ NDIS plan.
- Proactively manage and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families and other supporting stakeholders.
- Drive workforce management and provide effective management and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory and funding bodies.
- Effectively manage complaints, feedback, incidents, investigations and risks.
- Work collaboratively with enabling functions to proactively manage the facilities, assets, financial performance and budget and Work Health and Safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need: - Demonstrated experience in managing services within the disability sector or similar organisation.
- You are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people with disability.
- You have a deep understanding of complex disability, behaviour support and management.
- You have experience and understanding of the medical and social models of care.
- You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships.
- You are highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- You have demonstrated understanding of NDIS, the principles of Active support and human rights-based approach to service delivery.
- You have proficient computer literacy skills.
- You can understand business and financial drivers of a disability service and apply them to a supported independent living model.
