Role Responsibilities: 
As a Lawns & Gardens Lead, you will:

• Supervise, guide, and support a team of Supported Employees in garden maintenance tasks.
• Perform lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, and general garden upkeep at residential and commercial properties.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment where Supported Employees can develop their skills.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering independence and confidence.
• Maintain and operate gardening equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Communicate with clients to deliver high-quality service and meet expectations.
• Follow WHS guidelines and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Passion for outdoor work and inclusion – A love for working outside and supporting people with disability.
• Experience in lawn and garden maintenance – Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license – Ability to transport the crew and equipment to job sites.
• Strong communication and leadership skills – Patience and the ability to adapt your training style to different learning needs.
• Commitment to safety – Understanding of WHS guidelines and safe work practices.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude – Someone who enjoys working with a diverse range of people.
