About the role:
As Project Coordinator, you will support the successful delivery of projects by coordinating activities, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication across teams and stakeholders. The role ensures projects are executed efficiently, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with internal processes, while promoting inclusive and person-centered practices within the disability sector. This role also provides end-to-end project support to the Project Management office team across all stages of project delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documentation to ensure smooth execution. Coordinate internal teams and stakeholders to keep projects aligned with timelines and objectives.
- Support project leads by maintaining accurate and timely status updates.
- Take ownership of small to medium-sized projects under the guidance of the PMO Manager. Monitor project progress, update schedules, and proactively address delays or emerging risks. Identify and report project risks, issues, and any non-compliance with internal processes or procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues to foster strong working relationships.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, risk registers, and progress reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance delivery outcomes.
- Assist in the development and refinement of templates, tools, and frameworks that support consistent project practices.
- Promote inclusive and person-centered approaches that reflect the values of the disability sector.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and service areas
To be successful in this role, you will need: - Intermediate MS Office skills (inc. MS Project & MS Planner)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to deliver outcomes and work efficiently with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination
- Exceptional time management skills
- Relationship building and maintenance skills
