We are looking for an experienced Quality and Safeguarding Officer to join our supportive Customer and Practice team. This role will be tasked with developing and maintaining quality and safeguarding programs to ensure compliance with the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

What you will do
- Manage and conduct internal Quality and Practice Audits.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the end-to-end internal Restrictive Practices Panel Authorisation (RPA) process.
- Work in closely collaboration with the Voice of Customer, Clinical and Practice teams.
- Manage the Quality Teaminbox including providing subject matter advice (in keeping with organisation policy) to enquirers and escalating matters when necessary.
- Provide high level advice and input to ensure the development and implementation of client services that aligns with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and our NDIS registration requirements.
- Support the maintenance of internal data registers to provide oversight of the organisations policy information..
- Implement the approved formal and informal reporting schedule for the Customer and Practice team and make recommendations for improvement as required in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to continually reinforce and grow the organisation commitment to delivering high quality services to clients.
About you: - Relevant experience in the industry and understanding NDIS Commission Safeguards Framework.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in related discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation governing disability services and/or other related services.
- Experience in policy writing and Quality Management System (QMS) management.
- Demonstrated strong technology skills (systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and develop internal and external stakeholder relationships in order to deliver positive outcomes in a timely manner.
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality safeguarding in human services.
