About the role  
 
You will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of International and International team on international engagement and standards development activity.
 
What you’ll do 

• Act as Secretariat to SA’s international strategic committees
• Support Chairs and business leads to ensure meetings are conducted effectively
• Coordinate contributions to agendas from internal and external stakeholders
• Support Australian representation at key regional forums
• Produce timely and accurate meeting minutes
• Management and delivery of international committee meetings in line with the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidance
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required, managing inquiries and coordinating responses
• Effective diary and meeting management for the Head of International
• Proactive management of emails through the international email inbox
• Keep logical and orderly electronic filing system and log as necessary for action and follow up

About you 

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in politics, international relations, communication or another relevant field
• Understanding of Standards Australia's purpose and role in standards development
• Experience with meeting minutes, agendas and other administration responsibilities 
• Proven experience in a professional, government, commercial or similar international policy role is advantageous
