About the role
We are seeking a Change Business Partner to join our Group Project Management Office (GPMO), playing a key role in enabling successful organisational change across Standards Australia.
This is a standalone role where you will partner closely with Project Managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to ensure the people side of change is effectively planned, embedded, and delivered across key initiatives.
You’ll focus on uplifting change capability across a team of Project Managers, while also taking a hands-on leadership role in driving change outcomes across larger and more complex programs.
What you’ll do - Partner with Project Managers, sponsors, and business leaders to embed change management practices into project delivery
- Coach and support a team of Project Managers to effectively manage the people side of change
- Lead change activities across larger or more complex initiatives, including communication, engagement, training, and adoption strategies
- Develop and implement structured change management plans aligned to GPMO frameworks
- Ensure tools, templates, and documentation are fit for purpose and consistently applied
- Assess change impacts and support the development of targeted communication and engagement strategies
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting change adoption, including resistance management
- Provide a consolidated view of change across the organisation to manage change saturation and complexity
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (ELT/SLT), influencing and guiding change outcomes
About you You are a collaborative and commercially minded change professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across both business and technology initiatives.
You bring:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in change management, business improvement, or transformation roles
- Experience working in PMO environments across both technical and non-technical projects
- Strong capability in coaching Project Managers and embedding change practices into delivery
- Experience delivering or supporting organisational change strategies/frameworks
- Knowledge of structured change methodologies such as Prosci / ADKAR
- Experience measuring change success through KPIs such as adoption and engagement
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
