About the role
Lead the configuration, development, enhancement, and support of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications, with a primary focus on Salesforce and other applications such as HubSpot.
You will manage and lead a cross-functional team and proactively step into delivery tasks—whether it's solving complex issues or driving hands-on execution—to ensure the team meets its goals.
What you’ll do
- Recruit, onboard, develop, lead and grow a team of functional consultants, developers, Technical BA and Automation Testers
- Maintain a clear and constant view of team performance and capability
- Provide regular feedback and ongoing mentoring and coaching to all team members to uplift capability and help individuals achieve their growth objectives
- Develop CRM application roadmaps to deliver current and future strategy and alignment with IT strategy
- Lead the design, configuration, administration, and support of SA CRM systems
- Proactively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders such as Business Owners, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure etc., to deliver quality end-to-end solutions
- Manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring alignment with delivery standards, timelines, and strategic objectives
- Take a metrics driven approach to monitoring and improving system performance and health
About you
- 8+ years of experience in managing cross-functional technical teams, ideally including Salesforce professionals (developers, admins/configuration experts, testers, BAs)
- Proven experience with Salesforce configuration
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities
- Hands-on experience with declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules) and familiarity with Apex, LWC, and integrations
- Experience working with Salesforce configuration experts and developers to deliver scalable solutions
- Experience with setting up Salesforce deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices
- Experience managing other customer-facing platforms such as HubSpot, marketing automation tools, or CRM ecosystems
- Ability to assess application health, drive platform adoption, and manage vendor relationships
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and processes
- Prior involvement with production support / incident response
