About the role
Play a crucial role in analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and customer needs, gather, and analyse data, and translate findings into actionable technical recommendations that align with business goals.
What you’ll do
- Analyse business requirements and create ‘as-is’, ‘to-be’, solution flow diagrams, and use cases
- Collaborate with Tech Leads to create non-functional epics
- Analyse functional epics and create functional and non-functional user stories which meet the Definition of Ready (DoR)
- Consult with stakeholders (business and technical) to create required design artefacts
- Perform gap analysis by comparing the features with the agreed business requirements
- Analyse dependencies to identify impacted applications
- Lead refinement and grooming ceremonies for Scrum Team or Vendor
- Capture stakeholder feedback during sprint and release demos
- Create additional user stories following sprint and release demos, and coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule the requested changes
- Attend Architectural Review Board (ARB) meetings to document and analyse cross platform dependencies and contribute to solution development
- Attend Big Room Planning (BRP) sessions to lead design artefact, story creation and acceptance criteria discussions
- contribute to the assessment and measurement of benefits and conduct change impact analysis in support of organisational change management activities
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way to technical and non-technical stakeholders
About you - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and IT systems
- Proficient in technical documentation and modelling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Agile and hybrid development environments
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
