About the role
You will manage and optimise modern workplace technologies. Design and implement solutions that enhance collaboration, communication, and efficiency across the organisation. The role is responsible for delivering solutions across modern workplace technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Atlassian and related collaboration platforms.
What you’ll do
- Administer, configure and maintain modern workplace technologies including Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Team, Forms, and OneDrive, as well as Atlassian services such as Confluence and Jira
- Design, build, deploy and maintain optimised solutions that align with current and future business needs, IT strategy, architecture, and security requirements
- Ability to interpret business problems and requirements and implement effective solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Business partnering with the business to design, develop and enable delivery of user training and guidance on new best practices to improve adoption and productivity
- Develop and maintain application-level strategies and roadmaps, standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures for application lifecycles
- Managing relationships with external vendors, overseeing their performance and ensuring that contracted services and solutions align with organisational requirements and standards
About you - Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline or relevant business experience.
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in IT, including 5 plus years in modern workplace technologies with demonstrated deep experience in managing M365 technologies including SharePoint and Teams
- Experience managing Atlassian technologies highly regarded, or a willingness to learn Atlassian technologies
- Understanding of cloud technologies, networking protocols, security practices, and remote work infrastructures
- Professional certifications such as Modern Work Administrator Expert (MS-102, MD-102), AZ102 or equivalents desirable
- Microsoft 365 administration and configuration
- Deep expertise in M365 solutions, application governance, security, troubleshooting, and support processes
- Proficiency in PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs for SharePoint
