Our client is a well-established, family-owned cattle and cropping operation located in the Douglas-Daly region of the Northern Territory. With a diverse enterprise including beef cattle, hay production, cotton and irrigation, the property offers a dynamic and practical working environment. This is a great opportunity to experience remote station life while developing a broad skillset across multiple areas of the business.
This position reports to the station management team and will work closely with other station staff. It would suit either someone starting out in the industry or a candidate with some experience who enjoys a varied, all-rounder role. The position is available for an immediate start with candidates expected to commit for the season.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Assist with cattle operations including mustering, yard work and checking waters.
Operate agricultural machinery across hay production, cropping and general property work.
Support irrigation activities and other operational requirements across the station.
Undertake general station duties including basic maintenance and property upkeep.
Selection Criteria:
Driver's licence and own vehicle essential.
Some agricultural or practical hands-on experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
Willingness to work across multiple areas as an all-rounder.
Positive attitude with the ability to commit to the season in a remote location.
