Our client is an industry-leading cattle company operating an aggregation of cattle stations across the stunning Kimberley region of WA. Reporting directly to the Station Manager, the Bore Runner plays a vital role in maintaining essential water infrastructure across the station. This hands-on position ensures water reliability for stock and supports broader station operations as required.
 
Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct regular bore, trough, tank, and lick inspections; maintain bore records; and keep tank surrounds/solar frame areas clear.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on solar bore setups, generators, machinery, and light vehicles, utilising support staff when required.
• Monitor water points via the Farmbot system and promptly report breakdowns or maintenance issues.
• Assist station operations, including livestock program support, workshop stocktakes, communication across teams, and adherence to safety procedures.

Selection Criteria:

• Strong maintenance capabilities: plumbing or mechanical skills highly regarded.
• Previous station experience favourable.
• Proactive, team-focused communicator with strong problem-solving ability.
• Current driver's licence (essential).
