Our client's certified organic, breeding-focused cattle station extends across almost 2 million acres in remote South Australia. The property delivers true outback living while still maintaining convenient access via all-bitumen roads from the south. It is located approximately 130km north of Lyndhurst SA and 350km south-west of Innamincka.
This Homestead Assistant role is a key support position within the station's homestead, working closely with and reporting directly to the station Managers. The role requires a flexible, team-oriented approach, assisting with daily homestead operations and contributing wherever needed to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Assisting with general homestead duties including cooking, cleaning and upkeep.
Supporting a consistent cooking schedule while remaining flexible to assist in other areas.
Helping with odd jobs and day-to-day tasks as required across the homestead.
Working cooperatively as part of a close-knit team in a remote environment.
Selection Criteria:
Previous homestead, hospitality or similar experience (highly regarded but not essential).
Commitment to the role and ability to live and work in a remote location.
Some cooking experience with good attention to detail.
Friendly, personable and adaptable — a true all-rounder who works well with others.
