Play a critical role keeping water flowing for cattle on a large-scale NT station.
- Work across a 2.5-million-acre station, managing critical water infrastructure that supports a 20,000-head Brahman breeder herd.
- Travel the property inspecting, maintaining and repairing bores, pumps, pipelines and water systems.

This role is based in the Western Barkly region of the Northern Territory, covering approximately 2.5 million acres and running a Brahman breeder herd of around 20,000 head. The station operates with a full, mixed crew and utilises low-stress livestock handling practices alongside strong animal welfare standards. Horses and motorbikes are both used in day-to-day operations.
The Bore Runner reports to the station's management team and would suit someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and maintaining essential infrastructure across a large remote property. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities & Duties: - Travel across the station to inspect, maintain and repair watering points, bores, pumps and pipelines.
- Monitor bore operations (mix of solar & monos) and manage water distribution to ensure reliable supply across the property.
- Maintain bore equipment, fencing and associated infrastructure, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
- Complete record keeping, safety compliance and environmental care relating to water infrastructure.
Selection Criteria: - Mechanical aptitude and basic plumbing knowledge, with ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Unrestricted manual driver's licence and confidence operating 4WD vehicles in remote conditions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong problem-solving skills.
- Genuine interest in living and working on a remote cattle station.

- Remuneration: Salary package dependent on experience and skill level.
