Located in the fertile heartland of the Moree Plains Shire, our client is a well-established agricultural enterprise operating a 10,000 SCU feedlot supported by a broadacre farming footprint of more than 10,000 acres. The herd comprises Black Angus, Angus Cross and Wagyu Composite cattle produced for both Australian and international markets. As a privately owned operation, the business prides itself on deep, localised knowledge across all aspects of beef production and is committed to delivering exceptional quality.
This integrated farming and feedlot model provides staff with long-term stability, a supportive work culture, and diverse opportunities to grow their skills across multiple areas of the business. As part of the livestock team, you'll report directly to the Feedlot/Livestock Manager and contribute to daily feedlot and backgrounding operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone enthusiastic about animal care, teamwork and maintaining high standards of welfare and safety.
Understanding of feedlot operations and commitment to safe work practices.
Good horsemanship skills (own horse optional; horses available on site).
Sound computer literacy, strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn.

Accommodation: Single, ensuited rooms with shared kitchen and laundry facilities.
Horses: Optional - access to on-site horses; 5-6 weekly farrier service; feed provided for up to two horses.
Remuneration: Negotiable, aligned with experience.
