Our client is a well-established corporate pastoral company with an extensive Australian station portfolio and a strong reputation for professional livestock management. The station is a large operational sheep station, covering approximately 2.4 million acres and running Merino sheep with annual shearing. The property is located 400km east of Kalgoorlie, WA, on the western edge of the Nullarbor Plain. This is an extremely remote location. The station has a stable, experienced team who provide a positive and supportive working environment.
The Sheep Station Overseer will work closely with and report directly to Station Management, assisting with day-to-day livestock and station operations. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced person who is confident working sheep, managing waters, infrastructure and general station duties in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Assist station management with livestock programs, monitoring stock condition and growth rates.
Livestock handling including mustering, processing and general sheep work as required.
Inspect, maintain and record watering points including bores, troughs, windmills, tanks and pipelines.
Service and maintain mono pumps, solar bore systems and windmills (training provided).
Carry out fencing maintenance and general outstation infrastructure upkeep.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience with sheep, waters/bores and windmills on a sheep station.
Practical fencing skills and sound mechanical aptitude.
Genuine interest in remote station life with the ability to work independently.
Strong observation, record-keeping and communication skills.
Unrestricted manual driver's licence.

Semi-furnished 3-bedroom homestead + groceries and accommodation expenses covered.
Fare reimbursement to the station after probation period.
