Our client operates a number of cattle stations across North Queensland, with this role based on one of their properties located approximately halfway between Cloncurry and Julia Creek. Cloncurry is a vibrant and social outback town, particularly popular with young people, offering a great balance between remote work and community life. The Homestead All-Rounder will be responsible for cooking and maintaining the homestead for a team of approximately five people. The role reports directly to the station owners and plays an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the homestead. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Prepare hearty smoko, lunch and dinner meals for the station team and manage kitchen operations.
Maintain the homestead complex, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and shared areas.
Manage stores lists, collect groceries from town when required and assist with general station errands.
Undertake basic station support tasks such as lawn mowing, watering, checking stock waters and reporting maintenance issues.
Selection Criteria:
Previous cooking experience, ideally in a station, camp or remote setting.
Previous domestic or housekeeping experience.
Proven ability and willingness to live and work in a remote location.
Current driver’s licence and strong common-sense approach to work.
Additional Particulars:
Monday to Friday role; weekend work only during busy periods if required.
Opportunity to assist with cattle work if interested (not mandatory).

Accommodation provided: air-conditioned, shared 3-bedroom house (single occupancy room only).

Remuneration: Negotiable depending on experience.
