Restaurant Manager - Luxury Island Resort, Maldives

A refined opportunity for a Restaurant Manager with proven Maldives or island resort experience to join one of the region's most admired boutique luxury resorts. This position calls for an individual with natural leadership, emotional intelligence, and a sincere passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

The successful candidate will lead a small, close-knit service team in delivering intuitive, genuine hospitality, where every detail and gesture reflects warmth, precision, and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the restaurant with confidence, calm, and a guest-first mindset.
• Create an atmosphere of belonging where every guest feels personally recognised and valued.
• Coach, inspire, and nurture a small service team to achieve consistent standards and emotional connection.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to refine menu presentation, service rituals, and memorable dining experiences.
• Maintain standards aligned with Forbes and LQA expectations while ensuring a heartfelt sense of place.
• Ensure smooth operational flow, attentive guest engagement, and a seamless dining rhythm throughout each service period.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in luxury island or resort environments.
• Previous Maldives experience is highly preferred.
• Natural ability to inspire and elevate small teams through mentorship and daily example.
• Deep understanding of luxury service language, timing, and attention to detail.
• Adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and driven by the pursuit of excellence in hospitality.

Remuneration & Benefits
USD 1,500 per month, plus service charge participation and a full expat benefits package including furnished accommodation, meals, laundry, uniform, medical insurance, and annual return flights.
