This role is a hybrid position based in London. 

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach and build high performing teams to enable learning, development, and capability uplift. Understand each team member’s skills, drivers, and aspirations. Work with them ongoing to develop, raise capability, and build a career and progression plan
• Provide end to end leadership support for operational staff in their day-to-day workload
• Provide personnel and project support with clients, taking the initiative to drive improvement and deliver successful outcomes for customers
• Oversee the detection, analysis, and accurate response to security incidents and alerts from monitoring systems like SIEM
• Ensure the effective operation and enhancement of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and XDR (Extended Detection and Response) tools
• Manage rostering of the team to ensure adequate coverage across customer accounts
• Actively collaborate across CyberCX and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers
• Enhance team’s effectiveness by taking ownership of team issues and goals. Create a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement

About you:

• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, XDR, and Threat Hunting tools.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity methodologies, attack vectors, and best practices
• 2 years’ experience coaching or mentoring others in a high paced environment
• Exposure to IT security operations in a large or complex organisation
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• The ability to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to, CyberCX’s purpose, values and agreed processes and practice
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
