Position overview
A busy, loving family in Jupiter, Florida, is seeking an experienced live-in Newborn Care Specialist for about three weeks in December. The family is hosting relatives over the holidays and wants dedicated, round-the-clock support for their baby (about 3 months old in December) so Mom can rest and stay present with everyone.

• Location: Jupiter, FL (live-in)
• Dates: Approximately three weeks, starting on or around December 1 (a late-November start is possible)
• Position type: Temporary, 24/7 live-in care (3 weeks)

Schedule and compensation

• Schedule: 24/7 live-in for the full booking, with a daily break of about 4-5 hours
• Compensation: $45-$50 per hour, depending on experience
• Arrangement: Contract agreed directly between the specialist and the family (typically 1099 for specialists operating as their own business)
• Accommodations: Private live-in accommodations and meals provided

Responsibilities
The specialist is fully responsible for the baby day and night, working alongside a very hands-on Mom.

• Overnight care so Mom can sleep, plus daytime support as needed
• Feeding, including bottle preparation and support for a nursing mother
• Soothing and care for a baby with reflux and colic
• Responsive, cue-based care that supports healthy sleep and a gentle daily rhythm (no cry-it-out methods)
• Bathing, changing and dressing
• Keeping bottles, baby laundry and the nursery clean and organized
• Keeping the baby calm and on routine in a lively household with visiting family and young children

Ideal candidate
The family wants an incredibly warm, nurturing and gentle specialist who genuinely loves caring for babies and understands how important emotional connection is at this age. Experience and knowledge matter, but so does being open-minded, responsive and respectful of Mom's involvement rather than rigid or old-school.

• Proven Newborn Care Specialist or infant care experience, including 24/7 live-in bookings, with strong references
• Experience with reflux and colic
• Comfortable supporting breastfeeding
• A responsive, baby-led approach that follows the baby's cues; open-minded and adaptable, with no cry-it-out or rigid sleep training
• Calm, flexible and unflappable in a full, active household
• Discreet and professional; the family values privacy and confidentiality
• Current infant CPR and First Aid certification
• Newborn care certification preferred
• Clean background check and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Available for the full three-week booking
