Night Newborn Care Specialist
Live-In | Cayman Islands | June 2026 Start | 3-4 Month Contract
Modern Minders is seeking a highly experienced Night Newborn Care Specialist for a warm, polished ultra-high-net-worth family based in the Cayman Islands. This is a live-in, overnight role beginning around June 23rd (due date), supporting the arrival of the family's second baby.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a confident, seasoned NCS who enjoys international placements and working with experienced parents who value professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
Schedule
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- 7 nights per week
- Approximately 3-month contract with potential extension to 4 months
The first two months will be based in the Cayman Islands. The final six weeks may include international travel with the family.
About the Family
- Second baby (first child responded well to sleep training and is an excellent sleeper)
- Hands-on, confident parents
- Frequent visiting family members and occasional business guests
- One easygoing French Bulldog
- Professional, well-run household
The family values private family time and is seeking a newborn care professional who understands balance — someone who is fully capable and present during working hours, yet intuitive, independent, and respectful of boundaries.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Have extensive experience in overnight newborn care
- Be comfortable supporting structured sleep approaches, including gentle sleep training and cry-it-out methods if needed
- Be independent, self-aware, and emotionally intelligent
- Present as polished and professional in demeanor and appearance
- Be adaptable and open to international travel
Accommodations
- Private bedroom and private bathroom (Baby sleeps near the NCS's room overnight)
- Parents have access to a monitor in the baby's room
- Live-in arrangement for the duration of the contract
Travel & Work Authorization
- Cayman Islands work permit will be secured by the family for you.
- Strong credentials are highly valued (CPR, First Aid, newborn certifications, background checks, fingerprinting, where applicable)
- International travel experience preferred
Professional Standards
- Scrubs preferred
- Uniform expectations will be clarified in the contract
- A professional appearance is required when guests are present; however, when you are off or bumming around the island, scrubs aren't necessary.
Compensation
- Competitive market rate or DOE
- Typical overnight range: $45-$55 per hour
- Travel expenses covered
