A thoughtful, professional family in West Hollywood is seeking a warm, experienced infant nanny to care for their baby beginning at four months old, with the role starting in the second half of February. Schedule & Commitment
- Monday-Friday
- Approximate hours: 7:30/8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Initial commitment: 6 months, with strong potential for extension if the fit is strong
- Flexibility strongly preferred for:
- Occasional overnight care
- Domestic travel with the family
Compensation & Pay Structure
- Hourly Rate: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Pay: On the books
- Opportunities for extended hours during travel or overnights, compensated accordingly
Required Certifications & Experience
- Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification
- Extensive, hands-on experience caring for infants
- Confident, knowledgeable approach to infant milestones and daily routines
Childcare Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally supportive care
- Maintain and support a consistent nap schedule
- Understand infant feeding schedules and support the introduction of solids as age-appropriate
- Offer calm, engaged care that supports emotional security and early development
Transportation & Activities
- Reliable personal vehicle and comfort driving regularly
- Willing and enthusiastic about taking the baby to age-appropriate enrichment activities such as music classes, swim lessons, and infant meet-ups
Light Household Support
Comfortable with light housekeeping related to the baby and daily household flow, including:
- Washing and sterilizing bottles
- Baby laundry
- Tidying common areas
- Wiping down counters
- Light vacuuming and general upkeep connected to daily activities
Communication & Professionalism
- Fluent English required with strong communication skills
- Professional, proactive, and confident in independent decision-making
- Passionate about the nanny profession and ideally engaged with the broader nanny community
- Open to providing references and participating in a background check
