Location: Manhattan Beach, CA (South Bay)
Schedule: Rotational (1 or 2 weeks on/off)
Compensation: $130,000+ Gross base starting DOE with full benefits
Start: Early January (flexible)
A warm, thoughtful Manhattan Beach family is seeking an exceptional ROTA nanny to join their home and support their two young children—a toddler and an infant. This is a long-term role for a professional who thrives in a steady, values-driven household, enjoys a predictable rotation, and brings both heartfelt care and high-level operational skill to a busy young family. The parents are hands-on, intentional, and deeply devoted to creating a calm, grounded, and well-structured environment for their children. Their ideal nanny understands the rhythm of a home that prioritizes stability, safety, and thoughtful decision-making—and can seamlessly blend into that atmosphere with grace.
About the Family This is a loving, engaged home where reliability and emotional steadiness matter. They are looking for a nanny who can truly take ownership of all child-related responsibilities during their on-weeks and downtime. Their lifestyle is social but not chaotic; they prefer a peaceful household where their children can flourish and their values are respected. The right nanny will feel naturally aligned with a home that leans toward traditional rhythms, clear boundaries and a thoughtful, measured approach to family life.
The Role The family is building a two-person ROTA structure, alternating between:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, or
- 1 week on / 1 week off,
with a
mid-week handoff (e.g., Wednesday) so each nanny enjoys regular weekends off during their off-weeks.
Live-in during one week is strongly preferred to ensure seamless coverage, especially for travel.
Core coverage during the rotation is 7 AM-7 PM, with the possibility of transitioning into a
full 24/7 coverage depending on candidate fit and travel needs. This is a high-commitment but highly structured role—perfect for someone energized by a rotational lifestyle and able to arrive well-rested and fully present.
