 We are assisting a family near Central Park, NYC, in hiring a 3rd Rotational Nanny (ROTA) to join their established childcare team (one of whom we have already placed). The family has one cheerful and healthy toddler and employs two highly experienced rotational nannies. This is a collaborative and structured environment where professionalism, emotional intelligence, and teamwork are essential. This position follows a 4-week on / 2-week off live-in rotation. While this schedule is unique, it is designed to provide consistent care.
The nanny lives in a shared three-bedroom apartment with the other ROTA nanny during the working rotation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide all care for a one-year-old during scheduled work time
• Maintain a structured daily routine that supports developmental milestones and implement age-appropriate activities
• Work collaboratively with the other ROTA nanny and household staff
• Ensure a calm, respectful, and supportive environment for the family
• Coordinate with parents, though all hands-on childcare is handled by the nanny team
• Participate in walks and outings with the family
• Pack and travel with the family when needed (domestic & international)
• Maintain discretion and uphold the family's privacy standards at all times

• Strong on confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Reliable and flexible  

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in private full-time nanny or NCS roles (flexible for the right personality)
• Infant/toddler experience required
• Ability to live-in during on-duty weeks
• Comfortable with co-living in a shared nanny apartment
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Current CPR, First Aid, COVID-19 vaccine, TDAP, and flu shot
• Excellent references and background check required
• Local to NYC or the Tri-State Area

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary:$125,000 annually, depending on experience (equivalent to combined regular and overtime compensation)
• Schedule: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• Housing: Shared three-bedroom apartment during working shifts
• Travel: Required; must be flexible and passport-ready
• Benefits:Health insurance, paid sick leave (no additional PTO provided due to extended scheduled off-weeks), and 401(k) with employer match available after the probationary period.
