About the Family
A warm, international family visiting London is seeking an energetic, engaging, and trustworthy temporary nanny to support their three young children — ages 6, 4, and 2 — during their stay in New York City over the holidays.
The family will be based in a spacious four-bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side, close to parks, museums, and family-friendly attractions. Both parents are hands-on and realistic, creating a collaborative and organized environment where everyone works as a team.
The Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone upbeat, imaginative, and experienced with toddlers and preschoolers. The perfect match will bring fun energy and creative ideas to fill the days with art projects, games, and outings, while also maintaining a calm and professional demeanor inside the home.
You should enjoy being outdoors (rain or shine!), planning simple daily activities, and engaging children in meaningful play. Flexibility is key — some days may include full daytime coverage, while others might involve evening babysitting so the parents can enjoy a night out.
Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, hands-on care for three children (ages 6, 4, and 2)
• Plan and engage in creative, age-appropriate activities (arts, games, local outings)
• Supervise meals and snacks; tidy up after children
• Support nap routines for the youngest child (typically 1-3 PM)
• Occasionally, divide and conquer with parents (e.g., taking one or two children on outings)
• Maintain a clean and organized play environment
• Ensure safety and comfort in both indoor and outdoor settings
• Offer reliable evening babysitting coverage as needed

Schedule & Environment

• Flexible daily hours depending on the family's activities and plans. Mom loves the plan so as they get closer, they'll know a little bit more on what's happening, but they are totally open to a minimum amount of hours per day if you need it.
• Daytime coverage preferred around morning through late afternoon
• Occasional evening babysitting (especially around New Year's Eve with holiday compensation)
• Apartment-based role; all work will take place at the family's private residence

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of childcare experience (infant-school-age preferred)
• Prior temporary or travel nanny experience a plus
• Energetic, creative, and proactive with a positive attitude
• Professional, punctual, and flexible
• Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
