Schedule: Monday-Friday, ~9:00 AM-4:30 PM (35-40 hours/week, occasional flexibility for earlier/later coverage)

A warm, low-key family in Santa Monica is seeking a professional and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their sweet 2-month-old baby. As first-time parents, they are looking for someone calm, steady, and flexible who values cue-based newborn care over rigid scheduling. This is an excellent role for an experienced infant nanny who thrives in a collaborative household and enjoys supporting families during the early stages of parenthood.
About the Role
This role is centered on newborn care and gentle developmental support, with light household duties related to the baby. The ideal nanny will bring experience, patience, and excellent communication skills, while respecting the family's parenting style and providing a nurturing, safe environment for their child.
Key Responsibilities
Infant Care & Development

• Provide attentive care for a 2-month-old, including feeding every ~3 hours, burping, diapering, soothing, and tracking daily intake and sleep
• Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities such as tummy time, sensory play, walks, songs, and story time
• Monitor developmental progress and proactively share observations with parents

Baby-Related Household Tasks

• Wash and sterilize bottles, pump parts, and feeding equipment
• Keep nursery and baby play areas tidy and organized
• Manage baby laundry and restock supplies as needed

Safety & Communication

• Maintain a safe, secure environment at all times
• Provide daily updates to parents on feeding, diapering, sleep, and overall mood
• Work collaboratively with parents, respecting their parenting approach while offering guidance as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional nanny experience with newborns and infants
• Strong recent references and consistent work history
• Up-to-date Infant CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to renew promptly)
• Clear, professional English communication skills
• U.S. work authorization
• Calm, patient, and nurturing personality with the ability to read and respond to baby's cues
• Collaborative approach—open to feedback, proactive in communication
