Location: Woodland Hills (near Calabasas), CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM or 9 AM-5 PM (with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends)
Start Date: Mid-October (with 2-week overlap with current baby nurse)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate $35- $40 or DOE + Overtime + Standard Benefits

A warm, hands-on family in the Woodland Hills/Calabasas area is seeking an experienced, nurturing full-time nanny to care for their sweet infant daughter, born in July 2024. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional nanny who thrives in a collaborative household where parents are actively engaged, yet rely on their caregiver's expertise to help their baby grow and thrive.

About the Role
This position is focused on infant care, with responsibilities evolving as the child reaches milestones and grows into toddlerhood. The family is seeking someone reliable, professional, and flexible, with strong infant experience and a calm, steady demeanor.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive care for a 4-month-old infant
• Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and outings (walks, park visits, story time, music, etc.)
• Maintain feeding, nap, and activity schedules; assist with bottle prep and meal transitions as baby grows
• Manage baby-related laundry, tidying of nursery and play areas, and sanitizing bottles/toys
• Safely drive the child to outings or activities as she gets older
• Occasionally provide evening or weekend care as needed (advance notice given)
• Ensure safety in and around the family's home and pool (must be a confident swimmer)
• Collaborate with hands-on parents while respecting their parenting style and household rhythm

Qualifications

• 5+ years of nanny experience, including recent work with infants
• Experience supporting developmental milestones from infancy through toddlerhood
• Calm, nurturing, and soft-spoken demeanor — aligned with a hands-on parenting style
• Comfortable with large dogs (family has two, including a big dog)
• Must be able to drive with a clean driving record
• CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Up-to-date vaccinations (flu shot required; COVID preferred)
• Open to occasional travel (domestic)
• Preference for candidates with long-term career goals as a nanny/family assistant
