We are assisting a kind, creative, and fast-paced family in Venice Beach in hiring a standout Nanny/Family Assistant to join their incredible team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic home environment, loves working with school-age children, and enjoys contributing to the behind-the-scenes flow of family life.
The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, active, and professional, with a can-do attitude and natural warmth. This family is looking for someone with a strong sense of discretion, a love for creative play, and the flexibility to support an evolving weekly schedule.
Schedule & Compensation

• Monday & Tuesday, 12 pm - 10:30 pm, Wednesday & Thursday, 10 am - 7 pm, Friday, 10 am - 6 pm -  40   47 guaranteed hours 
• Some early mornings, overnight coverage, and travel are required.
• Rate: $35/hour or DOE + Overtime Pay ($95k gross base salary a year with opportunity to make more with travel, etc.)
• Benefits: 10 paid vacation days, sick time, and reimbursement amount per month

About the Role
This is a hybrid position blending childcare and family assistant duties. All three children (school-age) are in school during the week, so the day is a mix of active after-school care and support projects for the home.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging the children in creative activities (art, outdoor play, solo play, and more)
• Driving children to/from school and after-school programs (car provided)
• Light meal prep and healthy cooking for the children
• Supporting the House Manager with family-related tasks and projects
• Running errands, organizing kids' spaces, and managing basic household needs
• Providing backup support for the current team of nannies as needed

This household values low screen time, meaningful connection, and structured routines. The kids are encouraged to explore, imagine, and stay active.
You're a Great Fit If You Are:

• An experienced full-time nanny (3-5+ years) who is comfortable with three children
• Confident navigating West LA and comfortable driving children (spotless driving record required)
• Flexible with early mornings, weekend coverage, and travel (U.S. passport preferred)
• Fluent in or conversational with Portuguese or Spanish (a plus!) not required.
• Comfortable pitching in with light housekeeping, organizing, and errands
• Screen-aware and present—phones away from the kids, books, and real connection front and center
• A strong communicator, team player, and solution-finder
