Job Title: Project Manager - Plumbing & Mechanical

**This is a full-time permanent direct placement opportunity.

Company Overview:
Our client is a leading construction company specializing in complex commercial mechanical and plumbing projects across the DMV area. Their portfolio includes high-value projects such as data centers, hospitals, federal facilities, high-rise residential buildings, college campuses, and iconic office structures, with values ranging from $15M to over $200M. They pride themselves on their commitment to quality and innovation.

• The estimated pay range for this role is $120,000 - $165,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project buyout activities including scope packages, vendor selection, and subcontract awards.
• Oversee procurement and delivery schedules for major mechanical and plumbing equipment.
• Manage specialty subcontractors through all phases of the project, ensuring timely performance and quality deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and financial performance tracking.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of project management experience in mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial or industrial construction.
• Field or trade background in plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC mechanics, or hands-on mechanical/plumbing experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing systems and equipment including AHUs, pumps, and hydronic systems.
• Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam Revu is required; experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks or Revit is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
