Job Title: Sr. Project Manager - Mechanical/Plumbing

**This is a full-time permanent direct placement opportunity.

Company Overview:
Our client is a leading construction company specializing in complex commercial mechanical and plumbing projects across the DMV area. Their portfolio includes high-value projects such as data centers, hospitals, federal facilities, high-rise residential buildings, college campuses, and iconic office structures, with values ranging from $15M to over $200M. They pride themselves on their commitment to quality and innovation.

• The estimated pay range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex mechanical and plumbing projects from buyout through closeout, ensuring timely delivery and financial performance.
• Collaborate with field leadership to optimize installation sequencing and manpower planning.
• Manage financial aspects, including approvals for major financial decisions and aggressive change order strategies.
• Oversee procurement strategies for major equipment and guide project teams in vendor selection and coordination.
• Serve as the primary liaison for general contractors and client leadership, effectively communicating project status and risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10–15+ years of experience in project management for mechanical and/or plumbing systems in commercial or industrial construction.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects with MEP scope exceeding $30M.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, with the ability to review and assess technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam Revu for effective project management and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
