Job Title: General Superintendent - Asphalt / Paving

**This is a full-time permanent direct placement role.

Company Overview:
Our client is a leading mid to large-sized contractor specializing in paving and heavy highway construction. • The estimated pay rate for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all field operations, including paving crews, milling crews, mass grading crews, and utility crews (storm drain, water, sewer, and pipe).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
• Coordinate between different crews to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Provide leadership and support to a team of at least 200 employees, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a General Superintendent in the asphalt paving industry.
• Proven track record of supervising large teams in heavy highway construction.
• Strong working knowledge of heavy highway construction equipment and related operations.
• Proficient in computer applications and office software for project management.
• Thorough understanding of US and/or State DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations regarding roadway construction projects.
