Job Title: Senior Accountant

**This is a full-time permanent direct placement role.

Position Overview:
The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting support to the Accounting Manager. The Sr. Accountant will record daily, weekly and monthly transactional activity while adhering to GAAP accounting policies to include record preparation, research, general ledger activities, month-end closing activities, and reconciliation of accounts as directed.

• The estimated pay rate for this role is $65,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Accounting Manager in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports in compliance with GAAP.
• Record and process daily, weekly, and monthly transactional activities.
• Perform bank statement and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries, managing accounts payable check issuance and cash disbursements.
• Reconcile credit card and travel expenses as well as health and welfare accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and SUMIFs.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively communicate financial information and work collaboratively within a team.
