Job Title: Construction Project Engineer - Heavy Highway

Company Overview:
Our client is a leading company specializing in heavy highway and paving construction. Their team is committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. They value innovation and collaboration and are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join their growing team.

• The estimated pay range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 + depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to develop and execute project plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with state and municipal regulations by supervising projects with qualified Sediment Control and Traffic Control Certifications.
• Monitor all project work, including subcontractors, to ensure adherence to safety standards in conjunction with the Safety Manager.
• Interpret and disseminate drawings, specifications, and technical information to the Project Team, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Maintain compliance with engineering standards, codes, and design details throughout project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction management role, with a preference for heavy civil project experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is highly desirable; relevant work experience may be considered as a substitute.
• Proficient in various construction and office software applications.
• Familiarity with construction industry practices and regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, and lifting (25 pounds frequently, 15 pounds occasionally).
