Job Title: Lighting Field Service Technician

Company Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support to customers.
• Interpret wiring diagrams to assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting control systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on lighting systems, as well as respond to emergency calls.
• Assemble, configure, and design graphical user interfaces for lighting control equipment.
• Document service-related activities, including billing details and training reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including high voltage safety.
• Familiarity with lighting control protocols (e.g., DMX, RDM, sACN) and proficiency in soldering.
• Ability to travel overnight and work collaboratively with contractors and clients.
• Technical degree in Theatrical, Film, or Broadcast fields or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to multiple job sites, potentially over multiple days.
• Capable of lifting up to 70lbs and standing for extended periods on construction sites.
• Ability to work safely at heights and navigate challenging site conditions.
