Job Title: Wastewater Operator Class 3 - Fort Stewart / Hunter AAF

This role includes a fringe rate that gets paid per hour that can be either paid out directly or can be used towards benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sewage treatment and processing equipment in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor and adjust control panels to regulate sewage flow manually and remotely.
• Analyze operating conditions by interpreting meter readings and lab test results.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and safety records throughout processes.
• Conduct sewage sampling and laboratory tests using appropriate equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum of one year of wastewater operations.
• Class III or higher Wastewater License issued by the State of Georgia.  An equivalent & transferrable license from another state or entity will also be considered.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License and ability to maintain military gate pass access; must obtain security clearance for government computer usage.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
