Job Title: Federal Construction SSHO

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute daily safety responsibilities on assigned construction projects.
• Conduct thorough inspections of job sites to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Oversee the development and implementation of safety programs and controls.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Quality Control Managers, and other personnel to ensure safety standards are met.
• Report regularly to the Project Manager and VP of Construction on safety compliance and issues.

• 5-10 years of experience in a construction safety role.
• Proven ability to develop and manage comprehensive safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and any relevant techniques.
• Required certifications: OSHA 30-hour, AED/CPR/First Aid; HAZWOPER and NAVFAC ECATTS certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.
