General Manager- Asphalt/Paving
 
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to run field and office operations for a paving/heavy highway contractor. The ideal candidate will have extensive prior experience as a general manager for a mid to large size asphalt paving construction company.
 
Responsibilities:

• To manage all company operations including office, Asphalt Plants and all field operations including paving crews, milling crews, mass grading crews, storm drain, water, sewer and pipe crews.

• At least 10 years working as a general manager for an asphalt paving contractor supervising at least 200 employees while producing over 250,000 tons of contracting work.
• Experience managing Asphalt Plants.
• Previous experience managing up to 5-10 direct reports.
• Working knowledge of all types of heavy highway construction equipment.
• Proficiency with computers and office software.
• Knowledge of US and/or State DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations as pertaining to roadway construction projects.
• Prior experience with P&L Management
