About the role:
This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and is dedicated to building and nurturing long-term relationships in the retail truck sales sector. You will have a significant level of responsibility, allowing you to establish trust and rapport with individual customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively reach out to potential customers to generate interest and follow up on inquiries related to retail truck sales.
- Understand and identify individual customer interests, needs, and buying criteria to offer personalised solutions that enhance their purchasing experience.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of our truck offerings, features, and market trends to provide informed and compelling recommendations.
- Drive retail sales initiatives, upsell additional products and services, and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Accurately maintain our software system's customer data and sales history to ensure adequate tracking and reporting.
- Oversee the truck delivery process, ensuring customers a seamless and positive experience as they take ownership of their new vehicle.
- Provide ongoing assistance after delivery to address customer concerns, fostering long-term relationships and customer loyalty.
- Exemplify our dealership's core values in all interactions, contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for customers and team members.

You will have the following demonstrated experience: - Ability to follow and maintain established sales processes while developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- A desire to exceed customer expectations and provide top-notch service.
- Familiarity with Pentana, Era, and Dealer Socket systems, as well as automotive experience and technical knowledge, is desirable.
- Must be a team player, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and good PC skills.
- Holding an HR license or willingness to obtain a heavy vehicle license is necessary.
- A genuine interest in fostering relationships and understanding client needs is crucial.
- A winning, competitive spirit combined with reliability, honesty, and a well-presented demeanour.
