About the Role:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth transactions across various departments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Processing invoices, payments, statements, and expense claims promptly and accurately, while adhering to company policies.
- Managing customer and supplier inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances in a professional and friendly manner.
- Reconciling OEM payments and claims.
- Staying informed on industry-related financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborating with the dealership(s) accounts/admin teams.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Providing general administrative support and coverage during periods of leave.
About You: To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in accounts or administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Tune/Revolution DMS and Pentana DMS is highly regarded.
